Premiere: Spit Shake Sisters – ‘Blasphemer’

Evil sounding garage rock...

Keep it evil.

Brighton may well be a liberal, creative city on the outside, but it's an area with a black, black heart.

Take just some of the bands to emerge from Brighton: The Wytches, The Magic Gang… hell, even 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster ended up basing themselves there.

Spit Shake Sisters are next in this rich lineage. Dirty, demented rock 'n' roll delivered with a surf pop twist, the band caught the attention of the Black Lips and King Khan & the Shrines, sharing bills with both bands.

New single 'Blasphemer' will be released on (when else?) October 31st via Brighton DIY label Dead Fun Records. Clash is able to premiere the video and it's a doozy…

An unhinged slice of garage rock, the visuals match the pagan intensity of Spit Shake Sisters.
