Laura Kidd isn't one to stand still.
Working under the name She Makes War, the songwriter has played more than 400 shows in the five years since the release of debut album 'Disarm'.
In that time the material has changed and evolved, as Laura re-evaluates what drives her music. Opting to head back into the studio, 'Disarm: 15' EP finds the singer re-working her own material.
The singer explains: "I wanted to approach the songs I’ve been touring for the last five years with a fresh perspective – I selected the ones that feel the most resonant to me now and the ones I knew would benefit most from a bit of wisdom and hindsight."
'ghostsandshadows' is given a deft re-work, with the accompanying visuals finding She Makes War continuing this theme of self-examination.
