Something is stirring in Liverpool.
The city is host to a number of new groups, with a palpable sense of energy ripping through the area's music scene.
Shallows are a key example. A three-piece, the band have been snapped up by Key Music Management, and recently went into the studio with Dave Sanderson.
New single 'Pale' / 'House Of Love' is out this month on limited edition vinyl, with Clash able to premiere the lead cut before anyone else.
