Social media is allowing new talent a chance to express themselves.
A new generation of artists have been able to bypass the usual methods of distribution, gaining an audience which would otherwise be denied to them.
London based Shakka decided to upload his music to YouTube, creating 'Shakkapellas' as he termed them. Catapulted into contention, the urban talent has worked with the likes of Wretch 32 while his own material saw the newcomer get invited to perform at Glastonbury.
Nominated for two MOBO awards (vote for him HERE), Shakka is set to support Rudimental on four London shows. New track 'Just Want To See You' drops on November 11th, the third cut to be taken from his 'Tribe' EP.
Clash is able to premiere the video for the track. Shot up on the rooftops of London, the clip matches Shakka against the environment which spawned him.
