Skeleton Key Records is slowly, quietly turning itself into a vital hub for new music.
The label's latest release comes from Serpent Power, a collaboration between Ian Skelly (The Coral) and Paul Molloy (The Zutons).
Laying down material at Liverpool's Castle Greyskull studios, new album 'Serpent Power' is the result. Out on May 4th, it's a collection of enthralling psych-pop melodies, dripping in guitar effects and mind-altering substances.
Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Last Ape In Space'. A three minute vignette of woozy guitar lines and sighing vocals, the clip features some classic 70s animation.
