An Anglo-American duo signed to a German label, Rue Royale could be accused of suffering from an identity crisis.
In fact, the Nottingham based group know exactly who they are. Lilting, folk-infused songwriting with a melancholic bent, the group's third album 'Remedies Ahead' was overseen by Paul Pilot.
An assured, confident return, 'Remedies Ahead' won widespread praise and took Rue Royale across the country and beyond.
Opening the year with a flurry of live shows, Rue Royale have been confirmed as the main tour support for Bon Iver's S. Carey. Ahead of this, the band have unveiled a new remix.
Heart Island steps in to re-work 'Pull Me Like A String' – locating the blissful core, the producer instead turns this into a near psychedelic, entrancing dose of electronics.
