Premiere: Randolph’s Leap – I Can’t Dance To This Music Anymore

Delightfully cute piece of folk-pop...

Based on the island of Eigg, Lost Map Records have been forced to use some old fashioned means of communication.

Launching a series of postcard based releases, each snail-mail instalment features a brand new track alongside exclusive bonus material.

Glasgow's own Randolph's Leap are next in the series, and a delightful release it is too. 'I Can't Dance To This Music Anymore' is a joyous folk-pop romp, deeply Scottish in its ability to turn melancholy into joy (and visa versa).

Available shortly, the band have pieced together a DIY clip for the single. Flitting between a crowded nightclub and the Highland hillside, it even finds time to pop past the Glenfinnan aqueduct – famously used in the Harry Potter films.

Directed by Jack Willison, you can check it out below.

Recently releasing the tenth instalment of the postcard series, Lost Map have gathered these together to form a bumper pack – available at the knockdown price of £5. For more information click HERE.

Randolph's Leap will launch the single with a show at the Bowler's Bar in Glasgow on July 27th. In what will hopefully become a regular night under the I Can't Dance To This Music Anymore the band will be joined by Duglas T Stewart (of BMX Bandits), Neil Pennycook (of Meursault), The State Broadcasters and Skinny Dipper with Vic Galloway taking care of compere duties.
