Premiere: Paddy Hanna – ‘Austria’

Dublin native impresses...

Dublin is literally bursting at the seams with new music.

Paddy Hanna has been able to watch the scene grow for some time, thanks to his dual roles as a solo artist and in Grand Pocket Orchestra.

A continually creative individual, he comments: “You can’t throw a stick these days without hitting a solid Dublin band, so if indeed I am a part of that then I’m a happy little clam.”

New single 'Austria' arrives on May 11th, and it's a furiously contagious beast. Blessed with a sharply defined, neatly uplifting chorus and some biting, Elvis Costello style lyrics it's a neat introduction to a curious talent.

Clash is able to premiere the accompanying visuals, and they're every bit as entertaining as the music itself. Directed by Niall Conroy and Daniel Kennedy, 'Austria' features Paddy Hanna as a singer in a working men's club.

Showcasing his natural energy and charisma, you can check it out now.
