A run down south coast town, Southend nonetheless boasts a thriving music scene. Eager to foster individuals, epic newcomers Nothing But Thieves are doing things their own way.
There's a touch of (early) Muse in there, a hint of Radiohead while the vocal leaps are reminiscent of the late Jeff Buckley. Snapped up by RCA Victor, Nothing But Thieves will release debut EP 'Graveyard Whistling' on July 21st.
EP cut 'Emergency' is already lauded by the likes of Zane Lowe, with the band themselves due to hit the road this summer. With those dates fast approaching, Nothing But Thieves have handed their latest video to Clash.
'Itch' is a sweeping, soaring piece of music, near operatic in tone and delivery. Matched to a stylishly shot performance clip, you can watch the video now.
