Well, that was Dot To Dot.
A sprawling, multi-venue festival, the event is spread across three cities – Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester – and features all manner of new artists.
Scooping Best Metropolitan Festival at the UK Festival Awards last year, Dot To Dot led music fans on a mazy trail featuring performances from the likes of Drenge, Peace, Real Estate, Slaves, Indiana, Wolf Alice, Josh Record and more.
The festival’s partner, Fred Perry Subculture, is the fashion brand’s music initiative, kicked off to encourage both the emergence of new talent and the continued support of heritage artists. From Mod to skinhead and beyond, Fred Perry has had an enduring affinity with music and subcultures throughout modern British history.
Shooting a number of live clips, Fred Perry Subculture caught Norma Jean Martine in action. The American artist breezes through 'Game Over', her sweet voice resonating against the often powerful, emotionally bare material.
