For the past 18 months, Scotland has been gripped by a vital debate.
Posed the question of independence, each and every person has been forced to analyse what it means to be Scottish and how they wish to be governed.
It's a debate which has inspired all manner of musicians, both on the side of political union with the UK and those in favour of independence.
Lead singer with Ladytron, Helen Marnie recently returned to Glasgow. Caught up in this atmosphere, the caledonian political hot house serves as the backdrop for new track 'Wolves'.
Produced in collaboration with Jonny Scott, the single focusses on the energy of change. Marnie:
"Scotland is on a high right now, and the excitement and unknown really creeped into the essence of the song and the lyrics. I wanted to capture that feeling of 'what if', and the thought of people uniting to create change, and the potential that has."
Every bit as infectious, glistening and glamorous as the track itself, you can check out the video for 'Wolves' below.
