Youth passes all too quickly.
Jordan Klassen isn't old, by any means, but he's already lived a life. New album 'Javelin' is forthcoming, and it's a return to the sparse, affecting folk textures that made his name.
Ahead of this, the Canadian songwriter is ready to unveil new single 'Baby Moses'. Thematically, it matches The Faces' classic single 'Ooh La La' in its recollection of times past.
“Baby Moses was a song I wrote looking back at my twenties and wishing that I'd known then what I know now,” says Klassen. “Truly Rod Stewart-esque. I wanted to be honest about my disappointment, but also humble enough to not just blame everyone else for my own shortcomings.”
