It may be spring outside, but that doesn't mean we've escaped the poor weather.
If there's one sure fact about British weather, it's that rain is never far away. It's a certainty, one that (sadly) will never go away.
Joel Baker seems to find some solace in this. The folk-infused songwriter introduced himself last year, with the warmly received 'Long Sleeves' EP.
Focussing on his next step, the songsmith has unveiled new cut 'Every Vessel Every Vein'. It's a taut, rather intense offering, one which repeatedly uses the gospel tinged call-and-response cry "…just like the rain".
The video for the track finds Joel Baker walking alone an abandoned beach, the weather coming in around him.

'Every Vessel' EP is due to be released on May 11th.
