Glasgow's Holy Esque have an imposing sound.
Live, the band can be equal parts threatening and intoxicating, with the gravel-throated vocals grinding against almost industrial-style guitar tones.
Spending time to get their sound exactly right, Holy Esque are now ready to unveil their first physical release. 'Submission' will be released on July 17th, following recording sessions in Copenhagen.
Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Fade' – a live highlight, the track's epic tone is matched to a real sense of intensity.
The accompanying visuals are damaged, monochrome, and every bit as engaging as the music itself.
