Premiere: Flyte – Over And Out

Fast rising London four piece...

Contagious. Infectious. Immediate.

If you were to sum up Flyte in three words, then those would suffice. The London four piece are still unsigned, still deeply DIY, yet are able to call on an as-yet un-tapped reservoir of indie bangers.

Recorded in just one day, upcoming release 'Live EP' was overseen by Dan Grech-Marguerat. Out next month, it could potentially mark something of a breakthrough for the group.

As a preview, Clash are able to bring you the video for 'Over And Out'. Jerky indie-pop with a nod towards Talking Heads, there's a sense of pop classicism here, a shimmering melody which floats out of the stereo and lodges itself at the back of your cranium.

An anthem in waiting, the lo-fi video was shot in the band's bedroom and has a charming naivety which can't be faked.

Check it out now.
