Close friends with Flatbush Zombies, Espa first caught our attention via her role on the fiery hip hop cut 'Red Light Green Light'.
Steering her own path, debut EP '150th & Broadway' is forthcoming. Featuring guest production from Flatbush Zombies on one track, it's the sound of a young R&B singer eager to cut her ties with the past.
Pushing ahead, Espa has noted: "I truly believe imagination is the lost gift of childhood." There's a sense of nostalgic innocence in her work, with haunting new track 'Your Ghost' epitomising this.
With her voice left to float in the ether, the atmospheric production seems to thrive on sparsity.
