Premiere: ENGINE – ‘And I Say’

A new release on the CPWM singles club...

Leeds-based project Engine make bewitching, introverted, highly personal psych pop with an electronic edge.

Continually pushing themselves in fresh directions, the production pairing released debut album 'Cucumber Water' a few months ago.

Surging ahead, they seem to match sighing vocal melodies to muscular arrangements, laced with hidden aural treats and neat sonic tricks.

Supporting Connan Mockasin, Infinite Bisous and C Duncan, Engine have now pieced together a new track for the CPWM singles club.

The Leeds-based label supports fresh talent, with Engine supplying drifting, infectious new single 'And I Say'.

It's reminiscent of Hot Chip in it's bitter/sweet dynamic, while the visuals draw on the golden era of 8-bit gaming.

It's a real thrill – tune in below.
