Swapping the golden plains of San Francisco for the relatively chillier climate of Brighton, Ed Prosek took an enormous risk.
It's a risk that looks to have paid off. The singer covered Paul Simon's 'Homeward Bound' last year, with the track finding its way onto a high profile campaign from Cathedral City.
Since then, the American artist's star has risen considerably. New EP 'The Riverbed' is set to emerge shortly, a series of gilded tracks with considerable, age-less charm.
Billed as 'orchestral folk' it's easy to how this label has come to adorn Prosek's music. Warm, lavish songwriting with an intimate feel, Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Hold On Tight'.
