New box set 'Sound System' gathers the group's complete works into one place. Designed by Paul Simonon, the package features a host of extras including dog tags and re-productions of rare punk 'zines.
For those who only need a single disc in their lives, new 'Best Of' compilation 'The Clash Hits Back' brings together some of their essential moments into one place.
Out now, Google Play have pieced together a playlist of the band's finest moments. Featuring live performances and interviews, each clip focusses on a single album in the career of The Clash.
But that's not all. Google Play have also asked a number of artists to tackle one of the punk group's classic tracks, with some intriguing results.
Better known as a member of multi-limbed metal collective Slipknot, Corey Taylor's solo career has witnessed the American songwriter move in another direction. A life long Clash devotee, Taylor stepped in to cover the title track of classic 1979 double album 'London Calling'.
Shot alone in the studio, using only an acoustic guitar, it's an interesting re-working. A soft lament from a long term fan, Corey Taylor retains the sincerity which blazed through Joe Strummer's delivery.
