Brand New Friend have had an unrelenting summer of live shows, festival slots, and studio sessions.
The Northern Irish band's hard work seems to be paying off, though, with sold out gig following sold out gig.
New single 'Why Are You So Tired?' is a scorching return, all fiery riffs and that killer, ultra-infectious chorus.
Beneath this, though, lie some of their most affecting lyrical moments, with vocalist Taylor penning a salute to his partner.
The song "is one of the most personal songs on the album. It was written for my then girlfriend, who was anaemic. She never wanted to worry me when she wasn’t well, so the only way to know for sure how she was feeling was to ask her to show me her eyes. This song was a gentle reminder for her to look after herself, that I’d do anything for her and that even if she was past caring, the people around her cared massively about her."
