There's a split persona, two differing sides operating in Beautiful Boy.
So the indie newcomers have decided to embrace it. Double A-side single ‘Home’ b/w ‘Love Me More’ is due to be released on May 19th, representing the two sides to the band's persona.
Clash previously described 'Love Me More' as "sheer garage rock heaven with a snotty vibe", it's taut, in-yr-face aggression is matched to the introversion of 'Home'.
'Home' is soft, supple songwriting, with Beautiful Boy attempting to re-trace their roots. Dave Neale has stepped in to work on the accompanying video, with Tomi May taking the starring role.
A true to life depiction of British life today, this isn't some warts 'n' all clip but rather Neale opts to focus on the mundane, the everyday… the sort of stuff which makes life worth living, really.
