Bis seem to be enjoying a resurgence of late.

The Scottish group re-issued the 'I Love Bis' compilation to warm reviews, while recent live shows have become a blur of old favourites and glistening new cuts.

The band's Sci-Fi Steve has picked the right moment, then, to unveil solo project Batteries. Nagging electronic melodies with just a hint of darkness, the project's debut album will be released shortly.
