Premiere: BANFF x Caitlin Park – ‘My Love, My Lover’

Two songwriters caught in a tender moment...

BANFF and Caitlin Park hail from Brisbane and Sydney, respectively, drawn together by a love of music, and of performance.

Both work in what could loosely be termed an indie sphere – guitar-led pop music, delivered with intelligence and no small degree of emotional subtlety.

New cut 'My Love, My Lover' finds the two talents in full collaborative mode, and they seem to challenge one another to reach further and further heights.

An exploration of love, and being loved in return, 'My Love, My Lover' is a tender, endlessly moving vignette. Conceived and directed by Stef Smith, and captured by cinematographer Aidan Keogh, the accompanying visuals “the juxtaposition of the mundane mixed with splashes of heartwarming human emotion”.

“I was really drawn to a sense of disconnection and wanted to explore the clip through the eyes of a protagonist who was kind of lost in his own world, until finally this beautiful glowing beacon of love draws him back to earth – his lover.”

Shot in the suburbs of Sydney, you can watch it first on Clash.

'My Love, My Lover' is out now via 0E0E.
