The past, as they say, is a foreign country.
It's amazing how alien, how strange footage from just a few years ago can actually look. It's a fact that Baby Strange have seized upon for their new video, the visuals accompanying their addictive single 'Pure Evil'.
Set to drop on May 20th, it's a typically blunt, infectious piece of garage punk fare, laden with Glaswegian charm and salt of the earth wisdom.
The video features footage sourced from a Portsmouth rave back in 1992 – it's curious to look at each figure, watching them lost in abandon, and wonder how their night continued.
Baby Strange comment: "Putting this video together was a lot of fun. There's so many characters, some of the people remind us of people we know. We wish we were there, it looks care free. No one messing about on their phone, just a bunch of people having a good time."
