'Garage rock' as a term has been hopelessly mis-interpreted.
At heart, though, garage rock stands for the same thing it has always done: brattish teens making a hellish racket in their garage.
In that sense, Animal House are a classic garage band. Debauched rock 'n' roll delivered with a snarl and a leather jacket, the Australian band have now got their sights set on the UK.
