Andrew Mitchell is a respected figure in Scottish independent music, a songwriter with The Hazey Janes and a member of Idlewild.
Last year, though, the singer unveiled a new solo persona. Andrew Wasylyk half-inches his grandad's Ukrainian surname, with the psych-addled, baroque pop songwriting containing some curiously emotive vignettes.
A bundle of live shows saw the Scottish artist take his music across the country, and at one point Andrew Wasylyk decided to have his show recorded.
Working alongside producer/photographer Andy Martin in the rafters of the Sage Gateshead's Hall 2, the clip matches the striking yet unusual nature of the material.
