Despite it's enormous cultural influence, Sweden remains a small country.
Visiting its music scene, it can often seem as though everybody knows one another. It's a belief which is only underlined when approaching new band Amason.
A super group of sorts, it features the talents of Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow), Gustav Ejstes (Dungen), Petter Winnberg (Little Majorette), Amanda Bergman (Hajen, Idiot Wind), and Nils Törnqvist (Little Majorette).
Debut album 'Sky City' is due to be released on August 14th via Fairfax (pre-order LINK), with Clash able to premiere the video for glistening gem 'Kelly'.
A beautiful piece of songwriting, the perfectly formed Swedish pop nugget comes matched to some arresting visuals.
