Naming a project can often by the hardest task of all.
ALMA, though, decided to leap in at the deep end. A two piece, the pair took their name from the Atacama Large Millimeter / submillimeter Array – “a really bloody powerful telescope.”
It's actually quite apt. Showcasing their ambition, their relationship to technology and their wry sense of humour, ALMA just about sums the project up.
Atmospheric, ambient, complex and meditative, new mini-album 'ALMA' will be released through August 14th on Fierce Panda (pre-order HERE).
Clash is able to air a live session at 'To The Stars' – recorded at Hillside studios, it's a glorious awakening.
