The humanitarian crisis rippling across Europe has touched just about everybody in this country.
Call them refugees, call them migrants… each night, the news is filled with people who have lives – just like you and me – and they're being forced from their homes, travelling countless thousand miles in search of something.
The camps at Calais have become the focus of reports, with these make-shift communities suffering from enormous destitution.
Yet even here, there's hope – bonds spring up, friendships are made and people help one another on a basic, human level.
Earlier this year Afrikan Boy was invited to perform in the camp itself. Born in Nigeria and keenly aware of his own family's journey, he accepted – kicking off a remarkable series of events.
New short film 'Border Business' follows the rapper as he travels to Calais, and the intimate clip finds African Boy meeting with, and performing in front of, the community itself.
