AFFAIRS have a lot to be happy about, having been recently signed to Fierce Panda Records, whose roster boasts Coldplay, Placebo and Death Cab For Cutie as fellow label mates.
The Manchester electro-rock quintet’s new single ‘Life Of Leisure’ is their follow up to their successful Stained Gold EP. Released as part of Fierce Panda’s singles Club, the record has been hailed as a “doom pop masterpiece” with playful lyricism and synths-a-plenty. The song has received support from all over the airwaves, having had airplay on Radio X’s John Kennedy Xposure Show and BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and The Hawk.
Today’s premiere will coincide with a Fierce Panda label gig next week at The Victoria in Dalston(November 8th) where AFFAIRS will perform a one off Radio X session and interview for Xposure.
