Punk jazz types Polar Bear have unveiled their first ever music video – for forthcoming single ‘A New Morning Will Come’.
When most people think of jazz they think of old men in rowing hats playing the clarinet. When Polar Bear think they seem to recall a hellish racket that could blow most punk provocateurs off the stage.
Returning with their new album ‘Peepers’ the band are still striving to move forward. Polar Bear blend rock, electronic and more with their jazz leanings to produce something utterly bonkers.
Taken from the new album, forthcoming single ‘A New Morning Will Come’ is a down tempo slice of avant rock. Due for release later this month, the track is accompanied by a video directed by visual/sound artist Kira Zhigalina.
Containing footage from vintage educational films and her own textures, the new video complements the track beautifully.
