Check it out now...

Newgen junglist Nia Archives has shared new single ‘Bad Gyalz’.

The producer is having an incredible summer, with her June single ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’ becoming a sizzling breakout moment. Appearing in the current issue of Clash, Nia was a Glastonbury highlight, before headlining the mighty Outlook Festival.

New single ‘Bad Gyalz’ is an exuberant ode to feminine rule-breakers, a shout out to the ladies in the dance who are doing things their own way. The rolling breaks are unrelentness, with Nia’s buoyant energy proving to be overwhelming.

Vocals come from Ranking Ann, with Nia commenting:

I was on ma way to the studio with Clipz listening to Ranking Ann who is one of my fave MCs – period. And then I was just thinking about tha fact that like whenever I go to one of my shows, it’s like 85% women age 18 -25 which is so amazing! And they are all baddies, absolute junglists. So I wanted to make a song that represents that and tha women that come to ma raves. And that’s how Bad Gyalz was born!

Talia Beale directs a VHS saturated video that hinges on Nia’s incredible journey – watch it below.

Catch Nia Archives hosting the one-off Bad Gyalz Day Party on August 6th at 60 Dock Road, featuring DJ sets from DJ FlightPXSSY PALACESim0neIzzy Bossy and more.
