Nakhane Shares New ‘Interloper’ Video

A song three years in the making...

Nakhane has shared the powerful new video for his song 'Interloper'.

The South African born musician is a potent talent, exploring identity, gender, religion, and spirituality on new album 'You Will Not Die'.

Out on March 16th, the record is preceded by new single 'Interloper', a song that seemingly took three years to perfect.

He explains: “I spent about three years writing 'Interloper'. It first started out as a Pornography-era The Cure homage. Then it morphed into a slow, acoustic Iron & Wine thing. Ben Christophers (producer) and I decided to make it a stomp and a romp. Something that one could spin around to. Even though it's a song about irrational jealousy and anonymous sex.”

A sensual, paranoid, and rich aural experience, the gospel infused 'Interloper' comes with some intense visuals.

Catch Nakhane at London's Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on March 20th.
