Max Jury – ‘Numb’

Directed by Daniel Brereton...

Max Jury simply wants to do things his own way.

Growing in Iowa, it took a move to London for the songwriter to really assert his independence.

The singer's self-titled debut album will be released on June 3rd, with new cut 'Numb' trailing the way.

It's a deftly poetic work, the tumbling lyrics set against a gently affecting arrangement. The accompanying visuals have an old school feel, with the team utilising 16mm film to get the desired effect.

Director Daniel Brereton explains: "The song to me has real depth and warmth, and so we wanted to create an honest feeling to the video. We achieved this by shooting on 16mm film, and paying attention to details like colour and composition."
