The electronic maverick has spent the best part of fifteen years confounding expectations, and producing some sensational music. Taking time off, Matthew Herbert recently confirmed plans for an epic trilogy.
The ‘One’ trilogy begins with ‘One One’ perhaps the producer’s most conventional album to date. By ‘conventional’ of course, we mean something which resembles anything released in the history of recorded music.
Taken from the album, forthcoming single ‘Leipzig’ even features the dulcet tones of Matthew Herbert himself. Due out on March 29th, it is a typically probing slice of electronica backed by an otherworldly video.
