The latest band to performing for a Friday evening’s shoppers, Little Barrie cast thoughts of Friday 13th aside to perform a storming set at Merc’s Carnaby Street shop in the latest installment of their instore gig series.
Led by Barrie Cadogan, best known to many as part time guitar player for Primal Scream, the Nottingham trio have been working on their third album to be released in early 2011.
Disregarding the unusual setting the band played with their usual gusto, making no allowance for the early evening setting and debuted material from their forthcoming album to an enthusiastic crowd that quickly clogged up the street.
There are a further 2 instore gigs planned in this current run, Patch Williams on 27th August and 12 Dirty Bullets on 10th September. Make sure you head along for a cracking end to your week.
