Libby Whitehouse Shines On Pop Melter ‘New Boy’

It's a sunshine moment from the Brighton newcomer...

Libby Whitehouse seems to have that golden touch.

Still only 18 years old, the pop newcomer has released a string of stellar singles, each one ratcheting up imposing streaming figures.

There's clearly an international audience there waiting for her, one that will only increase with her sunshine new single.

'New Boy' is a buoyant return, but it's actually about being messed around, and then realising your own true worth.

Regarding the single Libby says, “I wrote ‘New Boy’ about my friend who kept going back to a boy who treated her badly, and he’d only become interested again once she’d left him. The song is a fun way of saying, “Well now it’s too late!”, and is about appreciating what you have whilst you have it, because girls won’t wait around forever!!”

We're able to share the video for 'New Boy', and it's actually the first video this pop prodigy has ever made.

She explains: “I’m so excited about the video for ‘New Boy’, it’s the first music video I’ve ever made and I’m so happy with how everything came together. I think it represents the song really well. I hope everyone has as much fun watching it as I did filming it!”

Tune in now.
