Each step from Liars is worth waiting for.
Simply put: you can never tell where the American group are going to go next. For recent album 'WIXIW' the band bought an abandoned prison, buried microphones underground and crafted some typically ambitious material.
Each track drawn from 'WIXIW' seems to have a life of its own. 'The Exact Color Of Doubt' is no exception, with the tapestry of synths bordering on the ambient were it not for the unsettling melodies floating underneath.
Markus Wambsganss has stepped in to direct a new video, after previously working on the clip for 'The Other Side of Mt. Heart Attack'. This time, the director explains that the new clip features “3D Screen Test Scans in the Villa Straylight” and explains that this is “a continuation of what the band and I started together with ‘The Other Side Of Mt. Heart Attack’, this time using a hacked Kinect sensor to scan their upper bodies to match the more digital feel WIXIW”.
Watch it now.
