Leif Erikson is the viking explorer who – it is widely believed – became the first Westerner to touch down on North American soil.
A historic figure, Leif Erikson – the band, that is – have clearly set their heights high. But with songs as crisp and contagious as 'Looking For Signs' then perhaps that's only appropriate.
Reminiscent of Kurt Vile or The War On Drugs, the neat riffing has an echo of blue collar legends such as Bob Segar or John Mellancamp.
