Karma Kid isn't someone to be ignored.
The latest talent to be drawn into the Greco-Roman stable, the producer makes music that is designed to be heard – preferably at a loud volume, in front of a crowd.
The producer's new EP drops next month, with Clash able to premiere the visuals for 'Man Of The Year'.
Brashing, cocky, and impossible to shift from your memory, it was crafted with summer's peak in mind.
Karma Kid explains: “I made 'Man Of The Year' in the summer of last year originally as a tool to play out at festivals so its designed to be played loud in the sun. It felt right to give it some colourful visuals.”
Director Iris Debaveye adds: "'Man Of The Year' video was inspired by the rhythm and vibe of the track. I quite liked the idea of making a video for it to dance to, echoing Sam/Karma Kid's high energy, which is sharp and catchy on this track.” “The visuals and animations were born out of the bright and pulsing feeling of the music and the sensation it gave me of being whirled into a kind of 8-bit racing video game for the Man of the Year Cup!”
