The years may roll by, but The Specials' classic single 'Ghost Town' never seems to lose its potency.
Written as the cuts of the Thatcher era were beginning to take hold, the track has re-gained a renewed relevancy in recent times. American collective Hot 8 Brass Band have begun including it in their live set, stretching out The Specials' skanking rhythms into a New Orleans flavoured party.
Set to be included on new album ‘The Life & Times Of…’, out on 12th November, the Hot 8 Brass Band version of 'Ghost Town' comes equipped with a new video.
Shot in the band's home city, it juxtaposes their party flavours with scenes of a still recovering New Orleans.
