Hannah Wants x Chris Lorenzo – ‘Rhymes’

Directed by London-based Ivana Bobic..

Working almost relentlessly for the past three years, Hannah Wants could just about be set for a breakthrough.

Spending her summer at Ibiza's ever-seductive Amnesia nightspot, the selector is now an international draw.

No mean talent as a producer, Hannah Wants recently paired up with Chris Lorenzo for propulsive new cut 'Rhymes'.

Slowly sliding its way onto the scene throughout the summer months, strong support from Annie Mac has pushed the track to the forefront.

It's easy to see why. Rooted in classic house but with a direct, quite physical edge, 'Rhymes' is buoyed by a Daft Punk-esque vocal sample and a snaps-like-rubber style bass line.

Directed by London-based Ivana Bobic, the accompanying visuals are rooted in British culture of the 70s.

The Brutalist architecture of the Barbican makes an appearance, while the film maker teases out the subtle sexual under-currents of the decade into an absurd and gloriously dis-respectful facade.

Watch it now.
