Oxford based Foals will be embarking on a spectacular autumn tour this month, boosted by the release of new single ‘Olympic Airways’.
The art school drop outs will be delivering their zealous, live performances up and down the country alongside support acts like ‘Danananakroyd’, ‘Holy Fuck’, ‘Wild Beasts’ and ‘Maps & Atlases’. The tour includes stops at legendary venues like Glasgow Barrowlands and Brixton Academy.
The acute guitar plucking of ‘Cassius’ returns in ‘Olympic Airways’, guided by more mellow lyrical melodies from lead singer Yannis, in-fitting with the minimalist pop of their album, ‘Antidotes’. Its end of summer vibe accompanied by ambient down tones make it a tune to see in the Equinox. Im sure the geek-chic ‘Foals’ would love to imagine us listening to their song as we patiently observe the skies for the summer passover. The digital release is accompanied by club-bound remixes from Supermayer and Ewan Pearson.
