But when it's done well, First Aid Kit capture something true, something genuine. New cut 'Cedar Lane' is online now, and it's as graceful a Kentucky ballad as you'll hear.
The heartache of the lyrics is matched by their soothing voices, rising and falling in support of one another. The duo explain: "It's song about searching for a reason to keep on keeping on, to find the good that comes with the bad. We wanted to create a piece that was dark yet uplifting at the same time."
