Exit Kid’s ‘Caesar’ Is A Titanic Earworm

And the video is packed with childish glee...

Exit Kid make gleeful, deliriously infectious pop music.

It's pop in its classic sense, distilled down to a fine essence – it yelps, it jumps, it sprints, and it refuses to behave itself.

A project that unites Emre Turkmen (Years & Years) and drummer Dylan Bell, the duo are now ready to unfurl new single 'Caesar'.

It's a titanic earworm, the sort of single that takes just one listen to embed itself in your sub-conscious forever.

The video is a fantastic watch, too, with Exit Kid matching their music to a playful sense of humour.

Director Joe Baughmann tells Clash: "Knowing the song's subject matter and then drawing from the feelings I had post-election/inauguration, it seemed appropriate to have a child represent the banality and immaturity of the powers that be. It was interesting for me to use the toys from my childhood and I had a lot of fun making visual puns and references with the toys that nobody will get (though hopefully meaning can still be found in it anyway)."

"Working with Emre and Dylan is always awesome. It was a blast creating the Wiggles-inspired portion of the video with them because they were open to whatever, had great creative input, and made the work enjoyable. They are beautiful men. =====D".

Tune in now.

Exit Kid's debut EP is out now.
