We caught up with Eugene at the Social in the centre of London (indeed, the venue is but a skip and a jump from Clash’s capital city HQ in Soho – please bring us biscuits). He plays ‘Fonz’ first – as you would – followed by ‘Dear English Reserve’; the former is from Eugene’s debut solo album, a self-titled affair out now on Domino. Read our review of it HERE.
