In 1973, Elton John was a hugely respected figure but not yet the star he would become.
That came later. That came with 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'. Patiently built over extensive recording sessions, the album has become one of the singer's most iconic, most defining releases.
Set to be re-issued in a lavish new deluxe edition, fans will be able to fall in love with 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' all over again.
Film maker Tam Johnstone – son of Elton John guitarist Davey Johnstone – has pieced together a new video, utilising recently uncovered footage.
The film was retrieved from the collection of former tour managers Marvin Tabolsky and John Babcock, and features rare glimpses of the piano player as he achieves global fame.
Oh, and the eagle eyed amongst you might just spot Elton John's fabled first meeting with Stevie Wonder…
Set to the classic Elton track 'Harmony' you can watch the video right now on Clash.
