E is a performer.
Perhaps better known as a songwriter, the man really comes into his own in the live arena. With his cutting wit and dashing charm, the Eels frontman is capable of moving from 40s crooner to electric rocker in the blink of an eye.
So we should be grateful, then, that the new video from Eels chooses to focus on their live performance. Shot in black and white with the odd flash of colour, 'Peach Blossom' finds the band on rattling good form with E even throwing in some hilarious dance moves.
