The end of the year is fast approaching.
It's a time for looking back over your achievements, for taking stock and – most importantly of all – making lists. Lots and lots of lists. Awards season is almost upon us, and the Grammy committee are set to announce the final nominations for 2013's instalment tonight.
This afternoon, though, a video leaked online which suggested that Eels could be in for a memorable evening. The grainy, lo-fi video bundled its way onto the internet, with E accepting gong after gong.
Or does he? Some have suggested that the videos are fake, a prank played by the songwriting on an unsuspecting public.
He couldn't be so cruel… could he?
