Blessed with one of American music's most idiosyncratic catalogues, Eels took to the stage at London's Royal Albert Hall last year determined to do something special.
Joined by a lavish cast of guest musicians, the performance was a lengthy spectacular, finishing with E rejoicing in re-interpreting classic Eels songs on the venue's historic organ.
Shot for posterity, new DVD 'EELS – Royal Albert Hall' will be released on April 13th. Ahead of this, a clip of Eels performing 'A Daisy Through Concrete' has been placed online – powerful yet supple, the jazz-tinged rhythm is set against E's gruff delivery.
